4. Registration is not complete until payment is received. Payment is due June 1 or a 10% late fee will apply

The YCC is designed to promote health, wellness, teambuilding & camaraderie by presenting participating companies and its employees with physical endeavors designed to build & challenge healthy spirits, bodies & minds for all.

The YMCA Corporate Cup Committee serves as the visionaries of the YCC. Our YMCA Corporate Cup Committee is the eyes and ears of the YCC. They can be experienced YCC or first time-participants. All suggestions and information provided to the YCC Committee will be considered, and, certainly, their involvement will greatly enhance the YCC experience for all participants moving forward. We are very grateful for the following committee members for their service on the first-ever YMCA Corporate Cup Committee.

If your company has 75 or fewer employees, you are eligible to join another small company to compete as 1 team. The Y will help you to find another small company/business to partner with if you need us too.

The YCC is a huge event. We have restructured all our sponsorship tiers adding a variety of ways you or your company can promote your business throughout the games.

Each business that signs up for the games is encouraged to provide volunteers to help with the events. Did you know creating a workplace that allows employees to find pride in both the company they work for and the work they do helps to keep them? Not only will your employee retention be improved, but also employee engagement. Not sold yet? Implementing volunteers has been a proven solution to helping employees develop skills that are beneficial to their job performance. By volunteering in the YMCA Corporate Cup employees can gain skills in communication, problem-solving all while simultaneously learning to be a team player. Points will be awarded for each volunteer!

TEAM BUILDING

The YMCA Corporate Cup offers a variety of competitive events to move you out of your comfort zone. YMCA Corporate Cup is the perfect opportunity to compete in team building activities which can help increase employee motivation & nurture a successful company culture. One of the most important benefits of the YMCA Corporate Cup is a collaboration between employees. The YCC creates activities that people enjoy and can experience as a group allowing employees to build relationships & develop networks of contacts outside their day-to-day role that will help them in the workplace.

IMPROVED COMMUNICATION

Poor workplace communication is the most frequently cited problem within organizations. The YMCA Corporate Cup offers enjoyable, fun activities to enable employees to get to know each other, creating a better understanding of each other, a platform to compete and work together towards a common goal, the YCC Trophy. The YMCA Corporate Cup can help your team learn how to improve workplace communication.

BUSINESS NETWORKING

Networking is all about sharing. Networking is a great opportunity to exchange best practice knowledge, learn about the business techniques of local business peers and stay up to date with the latest industry developments. The YCC offers a platform for every company to build strong business connections within the Salina Community. With a wide network of informed, interconnected contacts create broader access to new valuable information.

GIVING BACK

By participating in the YCC you & your company can make a difference! $100 of every entry fee goes to our Strong Kids Campaign. Our Strong Kids Campaign allows us to give back to our community in a variety of ways from teaching our local second grader’s life water safety skills with our SPLASH Water Safety Program, to sending 40 kids to a traditional overnight summer camp to CAMP WOOD YMCA, to financial assistance on memberships and programs. The Salina Family YMCA has been serving our community for 133 years and with our Strong Kids Campaign, we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of youth and families in our community. PUBLIC HEALTH

Wellness programs improve employee health & reduce elevated health risks. Wellness programs also decrease absenteeism & can help employee recruitment and retention. By participating in the YCC, it is a way to promote health and wellness within your company.

This is a requirement this year for all the back of shirts. Must be printed in black in do to the YMCA Branding Guidelines.

Each participating company has the opportunity to showcase their business with a 50-75 word profile. Only Microsoft Word documents will be accepted.  To submit your company profile please email Kathy Nelson.  Profiles are due TBA.
