Our Active Older Adults classes concentrate on improving strength and flexibility so daily living activities become easier.
Class incorporates friends, fitness, and fun! Combine strength and cardio with chairs so any level can participate.
Parkinson's Exercise Class
Free Community class for those diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease. The class will work with weights, bands, gait and brain training.
- You will have a community of support from friends of fighters and caregivers
- RSB coaches and volunteers to lead you through the workouts.
The class encourages the caregivers to be active during the class whether performing the exercises themselves or assisting with specific activities such as focus mitts. The importance of caregivers to take care of themselves and workout to help relieve their physical and mental stress is important for them and their loved ones.
Slow movements for help with balance and focus.
Modifies yoga while sitting in a chair, targeting basic body mechanics and posture.
A fun and refreshing way to get in shape. These classes tone and firm working on cardiovascular fitness and flexibility in a medium that's easy on the joints. Swimming skills are not necessary to join these classes.
