DEDICATION. STRENGTH. FOCUS.

Aikido is a unique method of self-defense derived from Japanese Bujutsu (warrior arts). Aikido is a blend of redirecting the energy of an attacker to a different direction of the force of the attack rather than physically opposing it head-on, thereby protecting yourself and the attacker from injury. This requires very little strength, as the aikido practitioner leads the attacker’s momentum using entering and turning movements. The techniques are completed with various throws or joint locks.
