Food Pantry at the Y
The Y We Share Food Pantry is a community resource designed to support those who may be experiencing challenges accessing enough food. Our goal is simple - to ensure that every family has access to the nutritious foods they need, while creating a space where our community may lift one another up.
How You Can Help:
- Food donations may be dropped off in the cabinets or refrigerator and may include packaged or canned foods, fresh fruits, vegetables, crackers, or any nonperishable items that are easy to store and share.
- Monetary donations can be made online.

Free summer meals for kids and teens, ages 1–18
Each school year, the Y provides over 67,000 healthy meals and snacks to program participants, following the Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines. In summer 2026, we served over 112,000 additional meals through the Summer Food Service Program reaching Y kids, Grab N Go sites, community camps, and now a few locations beyond Salina.
Watch for updated information about the 2027 Grab N Go Food Program coming in May 2027. Typically, the first pick-up date is the Friday following the last day of school.
