Get stronger each day in May with the Wall Sit Challenge. Show up each day, sit at the wall, and see what you’re made of!
WHAT IS A WALL SIT?
The wall sit is a deceptively simple move with serious payoff. As an isometric exercise, it works by contracting your muscles while holding a static position — no movement required, just you versus the clock.
Primary muscles worked: quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves
WHY WALL SITS WORK
- Build lower body strength
- Improve muscular endurance
- Engage your core
- Support knee health
HOW TO DO A WALL SIT
With your back flat against a wall, feet shoulder-width apart, walk your feet out and slide down until your knees are bent at a 90-degree angle, thighs parallel to the floor. Keep your back pressed firmly against the wall, shoulders relaxed and hold.
